Rev. Thomas Coughlin is the founding father of the Dominican Missionaries for the Deaf apostolate.
Fr. Tom was Ordained Priest in 1977.
He Graduated from Gallaudet University (BA English) and The Catholic University of America (MA in Religious Studies).
He also is a Registered Nurse (RN)
Founded Camp Mark Seven in Old Forge, NY, a successful Catholic Deaf Youth camp in 1981
He continues to serve his non-canonical community as Prior General and leader
Father Tom Coughlin is volunteering as a chaplain in the Archdiocese of Newark deaf ministry and working full time as Registered Nurse in a group home in Brooklyn, NY.
